Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has encouraged Benue residents to investigate the private sector investment window given by the Bank Of Industry (BOI) and the Benue State Government.

Governor Ortom, who gave the charge today in Makurdi while commissioning the First Fertility One Stop Medicare Mall, said monies held by the BOI may be accessed at 5% interest for investment in diverse sectors, resulting in an economic benefit.

The Governor praised First Fertility Hospital's contributions to healthcare delivery in the state, saying that he, Benue, and Nigeria in general are proud of the hospital's Medical Director, Doctor Stephen Hwande.

Governor Ortom stated the facility's addition will cut travel outside the state for medical consumables and certain medical services, while charging state residents to use it.

He encouraged the people to be challenged by the structure, stating that one must ask, knock, and seek before finding, as faith and works are inextricably linked.

Governor Ortom asked Dr. Joseph Ngbea, the State Commissioner for Health and Human Services, to draft a memo outlining prospective support for the hospital, as well as assuring the proprietor of patronage.

Dr. Joseph Ngbea, Commissioner of Health and Human Services, praised Dr. Hwande as one of the most important players in the medical profession, and said the ministry would help him succeed.

Dr. Hwande, the Medical Director of First Fertility Institution and the owner of the First Fertility One Stop Medicare Mall, thanked Governor Ortom and his wife for their support of the project, adding the First Lady commissioned his hospital in 2015 and prayed for heights, as shown now.

He praised Governor Ortom for establishing the Benue State Health Insurance Board and the Primary Healthcare Board, praising his commitment to the health sector.

The facility includes a freezer room, pharmaceutical services, laboratory reagents, a mini-mart, an anti-natal shop, and a 4D-Scan, among other amenities, and will be open 24 hours a day.
